Vietnamese Fatherland Front

The socialist   Republic  of Vietnam is  one of the most  well known  countries  in  southeast Asia. The  socialist  Republic of Vietnam is  one  of the few  countries  in the world that  has a  single party  social republic. That  means the country  is  governed  by  a  single party that  has  almost  no opposition. The  Vietnamese  Communist  Party of VCP is  situated  at the core  of the  governing body of the  country.  This party is  responsible  for  taking  different  decisions  on  behalf of the  country. However,  there  are several  pro-government umbrella  organizations  that help  the  communist party of Vietnam to tun the  country  smoothly  as well as  efficiently.

The Vietnamese Fatherland Front is an umbrella group that helps  the  Vietnamese  Communist  Party to  run the country in  an efficient  way.  This group  can be  described as   an  umbrella group  of several  pro-government  mass  movement in  Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This party  has  a very  close link  with the communist party of Vietnam as  well as  the Vietnamese  government. The  party was founded in the year 1977 by merging  several  small groups.  These groups include  Vietnamese Fatherland Front of North Vietnam, Alliance of National, Democratic and Peace Forces of Vietnam in the South Vietnam and National Liberation Front of South Vietnam.

The Vietnamese Fatherland Front  is  considered  as  an amalgamation of many smaller groups.  These groups also include the Communist Party itself. Other groups that participated in the establishment of the Front were the remaining part of the Viet Cong, the Vietnamese General Confederation of Labour, as well as the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth League which is known as the Ho Chi Minh Youth. The Vietnamese Fatherland Front also included the Democratic Party of Vietnam and Socialist Party of Vietnam. These two  parties however were disbanded in the  year 1988. The  group also incorporates some officially sanctioned religious groups.
